Surprise, surprise. You can get good service at some eateries - courtesy of foreign talent.

'People don't even turn up fpr interviews or, worse, for work, says Mr Willin Low, 34, chef-owner of restaurant Wild Rocket, of his experience with Singaporean worker.

On his first day of business last October, none of the staff hehired showed up for work. He had to put his fiends in uniforms to serve guests for the night.'
